Elbow pain arises when contracted muscles tear the periosteum and/or tendons at their attachments to the epicondyle, which is a bony knob at the elbow. Then, the forearm muscles become tight and pull on their attachment to the medial or lateral epicondyle, medial meaning the front of the forearm and lateral meaning the back of the forearm. These injuries and pain commonly occur during overuse through activities such as tennis, golf, bowling, arthritis, stress and strains, and some types of carpel tunnel syndrome. Continued activity causes additional pull and continues the pain cycle.

I purchased two of these after watching the video where it explained about the ridge on one side of the gel. But it turned out the ridge side is too intense for me so I only use the flat side. This is why I gave four stars so people would read this about the ridge. Otherwise I am happy.

This is the only product that has helped me after fighting epicondylitis for 8 months. After wearing the elbow brace for a few weeks, there is notably less pain on my inner elbow. Hopefully, the healing process for the affected tendons can now begin.

I purchased the Serola Gel Arc elbow brace a few weeks ago, after having worn a different style of tendinitis support for nearly a year, and in just those few weeks of wearing the Serola brace, i can already feel a difference that it is allowing the irritated tendon to heal and repair. I’m looking forward to no elbow pain for the upcoming golf season! I would strongly recommend trying this Gel Arch brace and i would order another if and when needed.

This is an awesome product….really works…however, the gel starts to melt/get soft in warm weather….and the gel falls out of the pocket when not in use….I took it off after a round of golf and when I was going to use it again the gel was gone….I wonder if we can order just the gel ?????
